Next time I'm playing I'll test the Scan Room with other sims around to see if there's an attraction for anyone. My couple is now married, but it's the same deal - and when I use the Consider Attractiveness, it's still at zero. Well it definitely did say -175, but hopefully it really is just meant to be 175. I just stopped using it altogether most of the time. Do they get the Attractive Sim moodlet when in each other's presence? If they are behaving as if they are attracted to each other enough, there really isn't anything to fix here except don't run the Consider Attractiveness romantic social command since it's not returning accurate results. Otherwise, if your sims are woohooing (with each other of course), it can't really be the case that they aren't attracted to each other at all.
SIMS 3 SCAN ROOM RATING WORK MODS
Do you have any other mods from other sources in play that are supposed to control the attraction formula? Do other couples in your game rank differently? You could switch actives just as a test and then quit without saving to find out.
SIMS 3 SCAN ROOM RATING WORK MOD
I would possibly be concerned if they were in a crowded room together and the Scan Room showed something like 400 for other sims around them at the same time, though.īut if it's really a high negative, I would wonder if some other Woohooer setting or mod is getting in the way. A positive 175 is a healthy enough score for a committed couple though it could be a bit higher, again getting them to marry might help. The worst I have ever seen is on two sims who could/should not possibly be attracted to each other and that would be 0, it never really gets worse than that. Negative 175? Will have to defer to a coder, but I didn't even think scan values of less than 0 are even possible, so until told otherwise am going to assume that's really 175 regardless of how it's showing.
You might want to dial the Attraction Base Chance Scoring back down unless you want all age-appropriate sims in your game to be attracted to each other.
But unless something unusual is happening in their relationship, it should stay within the same range, more or less, much of the time. There is an element of randomness to that one and some of the score will depend on conditions and how your two sims feel at that very moment. Note though that with Scan Room you aren't likely to get exactly the same results twice in a row. Some players have sims scoring well into the 700 and 800s, but I think those are more the exception and will depend on how other settings are arranged. My Eternally Faithful couples with Kama Simtra skills and at least one trait in common can easily score over 350 for each other. But sims who have been happy together for as long as yours have tend to score much higher. Anything under 100 for results on that one and there may be an issue after all this time. Much more accurate would be the Scan Room interaction when the two sims are, of course, in the same room. Others report different results, but in my sims' case I either get all 1s or all 10s when I know those can't be right, especially on the 1s when they get the Attractive Sim moodlet showing up as it always should. I believe what you are seeing is a slight math error with the attraction formula when scaled to the 1 to 10 range.
